Arrangement under section 7C of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 for use of computer programs to make decisions
I, Lyndall Soper, Assistant Secretary, Complementary and OTC Medicines Branch, a delegate of the Secretary of the Department of Health for the purposes of subsection 7C(1) of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (the Act):
REVOKE the arrangement made by Judy Develin under subsection 7C(1) of the Act dated 24 February 2011, in relation to decisions under subsection 26A(1) of the Act; and
ARRANGE under subsection 7C(1) of the Act for the use of the computer program known as TGA Business Services to make decisions for the Secretary as specified below:
- decisions under subsection 26A(1) of the Act in relation to applications for the listing of medicines; and
- decisions under subsection 26(1) of the Act in relation to applications for the listing of kits for supply in Australia.
This approval has effect from 9 September 2016.
