This instrument is the Therapeutic Goods (Complementary and OTC Medicines -Application Form for Approval of an Advertisement) Approval (No. 2) 2019.

3 Authority
This instrument is made under regulation 5F of the Therapeutic Goods Regulations 1990.
4 Definitions
Note 1: A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in section 3 of the Act, including the following:
- Secretary.
Note 2: A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in regulation 2 of the Regulations, including the following:
- complementary medicine;
- OTC medicine; and
- Therapeutic Goods Administration.
In this instrument:
Act means Therapeutic Goods Act 1989.
Regulations means the Therapeutic Goods Regulations 1990.
5 Approved form
The approved form for making an application to the Secretary for approval of an advertisement in relation to complementary medicines and OTC medicines, is the form titled Application for approval of advertising for complementary medicines and over-the-counter medicines (November 2019) published on the Therapeutic Goods Administration's website.
6 Repeals
Each instrument that is specified in Schedule 1 to this instrument is repealed as set out in the applicable items in that Schedule.
