DEXMEDETOMIDINE MEDICIANZ; DEXMEDETOMIDINE MEDSURGE (concentrated injection) is indicated for sedation of initially intubated patients during treatment in an intensive care setting. The use of dexmedetomidine hydrochloride by continuous infusion in these patients should not exceed 24 hours.
