Approval under section 42DF for use of restricted representations by Reckitt Benckiser Pty Ltd
I, Pio Cesarin, Assistant Secretary, Regulatory Practice, Education and Compliance Branch and Delegate of the Secretary to the Department of Health, on receipt of an application from Reckitt Benckiser Pty Ltd, have approved under section 42DF of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (the Act) the restricted representations to the effect of that described in paragraph (a) below for use in advertisements directed to consumers, for the product identified in paragraph (b):
'Caution
Do not use if you have serious circulatory problems such as active arterial or venous disease.
Consult a healthcare professional on the suitability of this product if you:
- have any conditions or disease affecting your heart, veins, arteries, legs or feet
- take any medication which could affect your circulatory system
- have diabetes
- are pregnant'
