Published
To help manage the shortage of the dispersible tablet form of fluoxetine 20 mg dispersible tablets (Zactin Tabs), we have made a Serious Scarcity Substitution Instrument (SSSI) that allows a pharmacist to dispense the 20 mg and 10 mg capsule alternatives as needed without first being approved by the prescriber.
For detailed information, go to the About the shortage of fluoxetine 20 mg dispersible tablets (Zactin Tabs) webpage.
For more information about SSSIs see Substituting scarce medicines and Serious Scarcity Substitution Instruments (SSSIs).
