Therapeutic Goods Act 1989
I, GRANT TAMBLLNG, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Health and Aged Care, acting on behalf of the Minister for Health and Aged Care and under subsection 17 (5) of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989, require the following therapeutic goods to be included in the part of the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods for listed goods:
- therapeutic goods that contain, as an active ingredient, hydroxycitric acid, potassium hydroxycitrate, sodium hydroxycitrate or calcium hydroxycitrate:
- therapeutic goods that contain, as an active ingredient squalene:
- therapeutic goods that:
- contain, as as active ingredient, fresh leaf extract of alfalfa (Medicago sativa) with a concentration ratio between 34:1 and 46:1; and
- have a L-canavanine level not more than that of fresh alfalfa leaf;
- therapeutic goods, except goods for internal use, that:
- contain, as an active ingredient Kunzea ambigua essential oil; and
- are presented in containers with restrictive flow inserts; and
- are distinct therapeutic goods, for subsection 16 (1) of the Act because they have directions for use:
- advising that the goods are for external use only; and
- warning that the goods should be kept out of the reach of children; and
- warning that the goods should not be applied undiluted to the skin except on the advice of a healthcare professional:
- therapeutic goods that contain, as an active ingredient, dried green lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus);
- therapeutic goods that contain, as as active ingredient, oil of green lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus).
