iNova Pharmaceuticals, in consultation with the TGA, has initiated a recall of one batch of Kynd Stress Relief tablets following reports of unexpected allergic reactions.
The affected batch number is 106585 (expiry 08/2023).
Kynd Stress Relief is a listed medicine traditionally used to decrease symptoms of mild anxiety.
What should I do?
If you or someone you care for is taking Kynd Stress Relief tablets, check the batch number displayed on the bottle.
If the bottle is from batch 106585 (expiry 08/2023), immediately stop using the product and return it to the place of purchase for a refund.

Pharmacies, other retailers and wholesalers who have purchased this product are advised to inspect stock immediately and quarantine all units from the affected batch. All unsold units of the affected batch will be removed from the market.
What symptoms should I be aware of?
Some users of Kynd Stress Relief tablets have reported experiencing allergic reactions. Symptoms of allergic reactions can include:
- rash
- tingling or burning sensation on the skin
- general skin redness and itching
- swelling of the throat, tongue, eyelids and/or face.
If you experience these or any other unexpected symptoms after taking Kynd Stress Relief tablets, please seek immediate medical advice.
The investigation into the cause of the reported allergic reactions is ongoing.
