The affected batch number is 106188 (exp: 06/2023).
Swisse Beauty Collagen Glow Gummies is a listed medicine used to support skin elasticity, firmness and healthy glowing skin.
What should I do?
If you or somebody you care for is taking Swisse Beauty Collagen Glow Gummies, check the batch number displayed on the bottle. The batch details can be found on the back of the bottle, below the product barcode.
If the bottle is from batch 106188, immediately stop using the product and return it to the place of purchase for a refund or contact Swisse Wellness Customer Service on 1800 794 773.
No other batches or other Swisse products are affected by this recall at this time.
What is the problem?
Mould has been found in some bottles of Swisse Beauty Collagen Glow Gummies. This is visible to the naked eye as discolouration and texture changes to the gummies.
What are the risks?
The mould has been identified as Aspergillus penicillioides. This type of mould poses minimal risk to the general population. There is a remote risk that individuals who are immunocompromised could become ill if they consume product contaminated with this mould.
