The list you should use depends on if you:use the Special Access Scheme (Category C) ORbecome an Authorised Prescriber.Special Access Scheme (SAS) Category C listsAuthorised Prescriber established history of use listsYou must meet all the listed criteria to access the product.If conditions are met, you can access a SAS Category C list product immediately.To find out more read how to prescribe an unapproved therapeutic good. How products are listedUnapproved products are listed if we deem them to have an established history of use.We can do this if there are no significant safety concerns associated with a product for at least 3 years.This is an internal process.
